Limerick College of Further Education (LCFE) is committed to the provision of the best educational support services possible and makes every effort, within funding constraints, to provide reasonable access to its Learner Support Services.

Learners will have available to them a:
- Guidance and Counselling Service with specialist staff, responsible for assisting learners in particular areas of need including: a career advisory service, higher education options and job-seeking skills, a free placement service for college learners and employers. The college counsellors are available for private consultations with all learners.
- Learner Disability Service to ensure that those with a disability have equitable access to all aspects of the college service, as can be reasonably provided. The college is fully accessible to wheelchair users and there is a lift to all floors.
- Pastoral Care Service where each course co-ordinator will meet learners on a minimum of three occasions during the academic year to provide general support & advice on progress etc.
- Learner Support Team (LST) to assist learners in the event of a critical incident and offer support to learners.
- Course Support Service providing individual / small group support in particular areas such as writing & report skills, spelling and grammar, oral presentations & communications.
- Learner Accommodation Service providing a list of available accommodation in the area. LCFE prepares a list of accommodation every June. If you are an accommodation provider and wish to be included on the list for the new Academic Year 10/11, please forward details to: Administration, LCFE, Mulgrave Street, Limerick. Prospective learners may obtain this list from the Admissions Office.
- Learning Resource Centre Service providing study and research facilities. LCFE houses a small but very comprehensive Library of books and journals relevant to all courses on offer. Adjacent to the Library is the Learning Resource Centre computer facility with 25 high spec PC's with flat-screen monitors and networked printers. This is available to learners during college opening hours.
- Learner Council Service to promote learner activities & participation in the college.
- Administration Service providing a vital front-line information service to learners; for example, dealing with queries, prospectus provision, letter requests, learner registration etc.
- Job Placement Service providing a vital link between learners and employers who may have vacant positions.
The above Learner Support Services are co-ordinated through the Learner Support Office (G23B) located on the ground floor, next to the Learning Resource Centre.
