Course Overview

This IT programme is aimed at those wishing to become skilled in the use of the PC (Personal Computer), for pleasure, employment or for those wishing to start a business and requiring excellent IT skills to do so. Learners take FETAC assessments.

Entry Requirements

  • No minimum academic requirements.
  • Applicants must be a minimum of 23 years old and have an interest in developing their skills in the chosen area.

Progression/Employment Opportunities

  • Having successfully completed this course, some learners may wish to enter employment, open their own business or progress to a Level 6 FETAC certificate.

 

Fees

As an NDP-funded programme, there are no tuition fees. Learners, however, are liable for registration and examination fees. Additionally, learners are expected to supply prescribed class and study materials.

Means-tested maintenance grants are available.
