Course Overview
This advanced, full-time programme is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in business and with a portfolio of skills used in the management, marketing, planning and financing of a business enterprise. The acquired skills set can be utilised to gain employment at junior executive level in various service/manufacturing industries and/or may be used to develop a business idea into a start-up enterprise situation.
Entry Requirements

Applicants should have successfully completed a FETAC Level 5 Business or business-related programme or equivalent.

Mature learners (over 23) with relevant business/industry experience are also welcome to apply.
Places will be allocated on the basis of a personal interview.

The Award enables graduates to exercise their acquired skills (see COURSE OVERVIEW above) to work at junior management level in a wide range of employments. Graduates will also be fully equipped to translate any business ideas they may have into new company start-up situations.

Award holders may apply for a place in Year 2 of the Higher Certificate in Business Studies - Marketing and Management programme at Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT).

Fees
As an NDP-funded programme, there are no tuition fees. Learners, however, are liable for registration and examination fees. Additionally, learners are expected to supply prescribed class and study materials.
Means-tested maintenance grants are available.
