Course Overview

There are excellent career opportunities for those with strong creative, analytical and interpersonal skills. This programme is designed for Learners who wish to pursue a career in the dynamic fi elds of Advertising or Public Relations. The programme offers Learners the opportunity to develop a full understanding of Advertising and Public Relations and of their roles in business. Learners are trained in Advertising and Public Relations, as well as in general Business and IT skills.

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants must have completed the Leaving Certificate or LCA.

  • Holders of a FETAC Level 4 award may also apply.

  • Mature learners (over 23) may be exempt from the above academic requirements.

Places are limited and will be allocated on the basis of a personal interview.

 *European Work Experience - Learners may have the opportunity of undertaking a period of work experience on the Continent to achieve fluency in the chosen language and gain practical experience of a work environment in a foreign country. The EU-funded scheme is known as the Leonardo da Vinci Programme.

Fees

As an NDP-funded programme, there are no tuition fees. Learners, however, are liable for registration and examination fees. Additionally, learners are expected to supply prescribed class and study materials.

Means-tested maintenance grants are available.
