Course Overview
This intensive one year programme offers a foundation in Art & Design and aims to enable learners to develop an understanding of the principles and techniques of animation and illustration.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants must have passed the Leaving Certificate or LCA.
- Mature applicants without these entry requirements will be considered on the basis of age, experience and overall demonstrable ability.
Places on the programme are limited and will be allocated on the basis of a personal advisory/interview session.

Having completed this programme Participants may progress to the Advanced Certificate in Art Level 6 at Limerick College of Further Education.
Fees
As an NDP-funded programme, there are no tuition fees. Learners, however, are liable for registration and examination fees. Additionally,learners are expected to supply prescribed study materials.
Means-tested Maintenance Grants are available.
