Pilates (pronounced Pih-lah-teez) is a type of physical and mental conditioning using well-designed, choreographed movements properly performed and in a balanced sequence. It can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. No previous exercise experience is necessary.

Course Description

  • Improve your shape, promoted flexibility and remedy any postural problems by re-aligning your body structure to its natural balance.
  • Promote stability in the “core” or “centre” of the body – around your middle where the muscles that support your spine are located – and in the shoulder girdle and pelvis
  • Work every muscle – group in the body with special attention to the muscles that stabilise the joints.

*Please bring a bath towel to all exercise classes. Learners are encouraged to bring their own exercise mats.
