'Energy' - LCFE Visual Art Dept Staff Exhibition

‘ENERGY’ an exhibition by the staff of the Visual Art Department at Limerick College of Further Education inspired art lovers at the Absolute Hotel, Sir Harry's Mall, Limerick on Thursday 9th December 2010. Staff members from the busy mixed-media department celebrated the launch of their showcase of a selection of works.

Each exhibitor was asked to develop their work for the show, which runs from now until April, with an emphasis on the theme of ‘Energy’. There was no restriction on medium and the artwork could be representational or abstract in nature. The assembled audience on the night got to view art pieces including painting, photography, ceramics, textiles and mixed media.
