LCFE Art classes visited the University of Limerick on Monday 15th of January to view the UL Art Collections of ‘The National Self Portrait Gallery’, The ‘Bourne Vincent Gallery’ and The National Watercolour Collection.

This was an opportunity for the learners in the Art Department to see the works of many Irish and International Artists first hand. These exhibitions are part of the University’s permanent collection and can be viewed any time.

The Learners enjoyed a Great morning of work and fun.  This field trip will be used as research for their various Art Projects throughout the rest of the year.

Thanks to all that took part, AD1, AD2, AD4 classes and the Teachers, Pat Normoyle, Audrey Fitzgerald and Dan Kenny.
