College Awareness Week 2016 at LCFE has been a very successful campaign this year.
CAW LCFE 2016 was officially opened by Mayor Kieran O’Hanlon on Monday. LCFE welcomed students from Colaiste Michil CBS Sexton Street on a College Experience Week as well as welcoming Nursing Staff from UHL who were on a Mindful Beauty Wellbeing Day in conjunction with Learning To Exhale. The nurses got to sample beauty and hair treatments from LCFE students.
Study Skills Workshops, CAO Talks, Motivational Talk by Ruairi McKiernan and and an Enterprise Talk by Anthony Coleman took place while various local organisations hosted stands throughout the week: GOSH, Smart Travel, Limerick Volunteers Stand to name a few.
The Annual Intercultural Day took place on Thursday of CAW and was a huge success with students from various different nationalities showcasing their national dress, music, cuisine and customs. Live music and entertainment added to the exciting atmosphere on the day.
