Culture Night, a free all-island event which included arts, music, history, heritage and science for all took place this September 21. This year LCFE hosted 5 interactive and exciting workshops during Culture Night.
“EVERYBODY CAN DRAW”
A drawing workshop using various mediums and materials to produce artworks, demonstrating that yes, everybody can draw.
Open to all & you WILL take something away with you.
PHOTOGRAPHY
A workshop giving an overview of both traditional and digital photographic processes including traditional black & white printing and studio photography. All are welcome.
CREATIVE TEXTILES WORKSHOP
A Creative Textiles workshop -making felted flower brooches using Wet felting with merino wool and silk processes to create beautiful flower brooches to take home with you. All are welcome.
SPECIAL EFFECTS MAKEUP FOR FILM & TV
Special Effects Makeup for Film & TV – learn how to create realistic bruises and wounds to enhance your production. All are welcome.
PUPPET THEATRE
Shadow puppet theatre workshops and performance. Join us to explore shadow puppet workshops from 6pm with Limerick School of Further Education art department. Performance with musicians from the Limerick School of Music. All are welcome.
