Erasmus+ at LCFE

03/Feb/2021

What is Erasmus+?

Erasmus+ is the EU funding programme for education, training, youth and sport.

It provides opportunities for learners to get work experience abroad.

At LCFE, our Erasmus+ Programme offers learners the opportunity to complete a two-week work placement in France or Spain. The opportunity to spend 2 weeks living in a different country affords the learners the opportunity to experience and appreciate different cultures.

In addition to this, language learning is greatly improved which benefits the learners in gaining employment in the future.

Learners who are successful in gaining an Erasmus+ placement will qualify for a grant which goes towards the cost of travel and accommodation expenses for the placement. In the 2021 academic year, students can apply for placements in Rennes, France or Malaga, Spain. (Subject to application criteria).  This is an exciting oppoprtunity for sure!  You can find more information on Erasmus+ here.
