IPU {Irish Pharmaceutical Union} Medicines and Counter Assistant {MCA}

Working in a Pharmacy is a varied, dynamic and interesting way of earning a living. This 1 year, full-time programme will appeal to many. As well as a QQI qualification, learners are offered the Medicine Counter Assistant module from IPU.   This qualification increases employment opportunities and is delivered by a qualified Pharmacist. Learners who complete the course may gain employment in a Pharmacy dispensing over-the-counter medicines and other products in a rapidly developing industry.
