This one-year QQI Level 4 course is aimed at people whose first language is not English and who would like to develop a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The course will enable the learner to build a foundation for further studies in these areas. They will also be able to significantly improve their everyday communication skills. Before starting the course, applicants will carry out an English language assessment.

Employment Opportunities
- Applicants must have B1 (CEFR) English
language level. - Applicants must have the ability to
complete a full QQI level 4 Award. - Social welfare recipients will be entitled
to a weekly meals and travel allowance
and those under 26 will receive an
increase in their allowance.
People who complete this course will have
the opportunity to progress to a higher
level of study in science, technology,
construction or mathematics within
the Further Education and Training
sector. Learners will have access to
career planning and guidance support
throughout the year
