We would like to extend the warmest of welcomes to our 1st year Hairdressing Apprentices on the first week of their 3-year National Hairdressing Apprenticeship programme at Limerick College of Further Education, Mulgrave Street.
This course is based on a one day off-the-job where the apprentice comes in here to the college, and four days on-the-job where the apprentice continues their training in the salon environment structure.
Successful completion will lead to a QQI level 6 Advanced Certificate in Hairdressing.
This qualification is a first of its kind in Ireland and has been long awaited by the hairdressing industry here.
