LCFE Student Union and Student Support Services have started Clubs & Societies!
Five societies have set themselves up and should cater to learners across a wide variety of interests.
Geek Soc, aimed at those with a passion for gaming, comics, movies, books, cosplay and everything in between will meet every second Tuesday evening for ‘Game Night’.
Hobby Soc are also well underway. A weekly group of sewing/crochet/knitting enthusiasts gather in the LRC on Wednesdays from 12.15. ‘Yak & Yarn’ is open to beginners and masters alike all you need is an interest in passion and be able to spin a good story or two!
Recently the Advanced Art hosted a ceramics workshop with Hobby Soc. Those who took part were able to learn firsthand how to make their very own Christmas decorations.
LCFE hosts five societies – LGBT / Music / Culture / Hobby / Geek. The college is also setting up five clubs – Soccer / Basketball / Fitness / Yoga / Outdoor Pursuits.
